On July 19 in Spencertown, NY, collector Jack Shear will be joined by Curator Jennifer Tonkovich of the Morgan Library & Museum for an informal conversation about his eclectic taste and unorthodox installations, his boundless appreciation for the act of drawing, and ways of seeing through drawings. This conversation and exhibition aim to challenge conventional approaches to the how, why, and what of collecting drawings.
The Jack Shear Collection includes over 1800 drawings from the 15th-21st centuries. Jack Shear is an artist and collector who lives and works in Columbia County, New York.
